This book is for every student who finds that in the chapter "Magnetic Effects of Electric Current" the right-hand rule, left-hand rule, solenoid and field lines all look alike and get mixed up.
We will start from the very beginning — "Why does a magnet pull iron?" — and slowly work our way up to the Board Exam. On the way we will also look at 2,500 years of history: who made the first compass, who discovered the link between current and magnets by accident, and which scientists units such as the tesla, weber, ampere and henry are named after.
